About Ioanna

Teaching that feels alive

Ioanna brings creativity, heartfelt energy and a genuine care for the people in front of her to every class. The result is yoga that feels playful and grounding, with room for you to arrive exactly as you are.

Movement has always felt like home

Long before yoga, there was sport and contemporary dance. Being an athlete gave Ioanna discipline and a love of moving for its own sake. Dance brought musicality, expression and the freedom to be curious. Both still live in the way she teaches today: embodied, creative and responsive to the energy in the room.

Yoga made room for stillness

Ioanna found yoga as a young adult and was drawn to the way it brought body, breath and attention together. What began as another way to move gradually became something steadier: a place to slow down, listen and return to herself. That balance between aliveness and quiet now sits at the heart of her teaching.

A class that meets you where you are

Her classes can be lively and playful or slow and grounding, but they are always warm, creative and centred on the people taking part. Ioanna builds thoughtful sequences that keep the practice engaging and make each class feel like its own experience. Clear guidance and plenty of options create a supportive space to explore — without pressure to perform or get anything right.

A pedagogue’s eye for people

Ioanna is also a trained pedagogue assistant, educated in Greece, where her studies included courses in children’s psychology. Learning how people take in guidance, build confidence and respond to a patient, unhurried space still shapes the way she teaches: attentive to the individual, clear in her cues and never in a rush with anyone finding their way into something new.

“I’ve attended many of Ioanna’s classes over the past few years, and she is an amazing teacher. Her flows are always fun, creative, and engaging, but what I appreciate most is her incredible energy. She has a way of making every class feel special, and I always leave in a better mood than when I arrived.”
